Universities Australia has created a marketing pack that you can use to promote Pitch It Clever (PIC) in your institution.

What it’s about


Pitch It Clever is UA’s annual competition inviting Australia’s early-career researchers to pitch the story and impact of their research. To enter, they need to submit a two minute video file, along with an attractive cover image, intriguing title and snappy description.

There are three awards up for grabs:

Vice-Chancellors’ award

Chosen by Vice-Chancellors from a shortlist of the strongest entries, the winner will receive a cash prize, attendance to the 2022 UA Conference (6-7 July in Canberra, including flights and accommodation) and a week integrated with The Conversation’s editorial team in Melbourne (including flights and accommodation).

Universities Australia award

Shortlisted and chosen by the Universities Australia team, the winner will receive a cash prize and attendance to the 2022 UA Conference (6-7 July in Canberra, including flights and accommodation).

People’s choice award

Selected by the public, with voting opening in early June, more information about this prize will be made available soon.


Entrants are ineligible to win more than one prize. They must also agree to the talent and content agreement upon entry and supply a signed academic supervisor approval form.

Entries close on 5 June 2022.

What’s in the pack

This high resolution poster can be printed at A2, A3, A4 and A5 sizes. It’s in RGB colour so works well with office printers.
